With a rich academic background, I proudly hold a graduate degree from the University of Texas Pan American and boast an extensive 16-year tenure in the field of mental health.
My professional commitment extends to working with a diverse clientele, and I find immense fulfillment in assisting individuals in surmounting life’s challenges and effectively managing mental health disorders within a supportive and constructive environment. My extensive career portfolio comprises expertise in diagnostic assessments, referral processes, treatment planning, and the adept execution of therapeutic interventions. I also possess significant experience in supervisory roles, crisis and suicide prevention, and the delivery of individual therapy to youths, at-risk adolescents, adults, and families.
Within my current role at the agency, my focus is dedicated to aiding victims of domestic abuse/violence, resolving family discord, addressing issues related to the neglectful supervision of children, and providing support to individuals affected by various forms of abuse. My practice primarily emphasizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), although I am adaptable to utilizing other treatment modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Beyond my clinical duties, I have had the privilege of leveraging my experience and work ethic to mentor and train department employees, as well as engage in public speaking engagements and presentations. My contributions have played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of numerous community health programs, underscoring my dedication to the broader well-being of our community.

Jackie Pulido, MS, LPC

I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor with over eight years experience in employee assistance programs, community clinics, inpatient facilities, k-12 schools, and private practice. In these positions I have helped diverse clients to set and achieve therapeutic goals by using cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based modalities. I hold a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from what was previously the University of Texas Pan American and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Child & Family Studies from Baylor University. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, relationship issues, behavioral issues, and substance abuse issues. Apart from holding my LPC, I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I provide my clients a safe space where they can be open and honest, without fear of judgment. I enjoy teaching clients to take control of their thoughts and learn new strategies to help achieve long-term success.

Stephanie has a double Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Pan American. She has been practicing within the field for over 13 years in various Outpatient Mental Health Clinics, non-profit organizations, and private practice settings.
Stephanie is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Client Centered Therapy and Psycho-Educational Therapy.
